Lewis & Barrow specialises in providing affordable, innovative, and practical design solutions aimed at saving the client time and money. Building Information Modelling (BIM) is used extensively to produce high-quality, clear, and accurate plans that enable projects to be completed efficiently and with certainty, minimising costly on-site delays and contract variations.
Our staff are all long-standing; you can be sure you will be dealing with the same person on repeat business where appropriate.
The majority of our work comes from the Canterbury Region; however, work has been undertaken all over New Zealand and occasionally overseas.
Our History
Established in 1972 by Warren Lewis and joined by Steve Barrow in 1978. Steve Barrow stepped down from this position in 2017. Warren stepped down as director in 2025 after 53 years of running the business and was replaced by Joe Taylor. Lewis and Barrow currently employ 9 full-time staff and 3 part-time staff, offering a broad range of expertise and experience.
