Giannis Pita Bread, Sandyford Street
In this case a Greek influence was required to be incorporated into the architectural design. The building had to incorporate a first floor store, a lift, a baking hall and a cooling hall. Construction was simplified by using precast concrete elements throughout. Costs were reduced by preparing alternative options for most requirements, costing them, and then carrying out a cost/benefit analysis. |
